Construction Management

Construction Management is a professional service where we implement specialized project management techniques as we oversee the planning, design, and construction of a project, from beginning to end. It is our job to coordinate between owner, architect and contractor, and we're involved at every step of the way - beginning with the idea and design.

Small Details, Big Picture

Whether we are building a new home for a family or overseeing a large commercial construction project, we take pride in noticing the details, without losing sight of the larger demands of the project.

As construction managers at Dupuis Construction, we supervise the project schedule, monitor costs and ensure that the highest quality standards are met. After nearly two decades in business, our intricate knowledge of building practices makes us uniquely qualified to manage your project efficiently and affordably.

Managing Schedule, Budget and Quality Assurance

Failing to adhere to a planned project schedule can have an adverse effect on both cost and quality. Only trained and experienced managers know how to schedule subcontractors properly to ensure that neither cost nor quality are compromised for the sake of the schedule. We excel at maintaining proper execution of all three, using the Lean Construction approach.

The Lean Construction Method

Dupuis Construction implements the Lean Construction methodology on every project. Essentially, this is a method of production aimed at minimizing costs, materials, time and effort. Dupuis Construction has years of experience implementing Lean Construction; coupled with our decades of trade experience, this allows us to execute the method to its full potential.

Scott was the Construction Manager for six ski vacation homes that I designed in Wilmington, VT. Five of these were slopeside at The Hermitage, a private ski area in Wilmington, and the other was at Cold Brook Crossing, a ski/vacation home development with great views of Haystack Mountain (The Hermitage) and Mount Snow. These were high end projects and as such were demanding in terms of complexity and expectation for finish quality. Scott was great to work with. He communicates well, pays attention to detail, offers suggestions in a useful and practical way, and is an excellent construction manager. Scott knows all the trades people in the Valley, their strengths and weaknesses, and knows how to get the best results from everybody. The projects were completed on time and on budget, and I would recommend Scott highly to anyone.
